Extract from “Gov’t will study all TPPA trade impacts, says MITI”

The government will study the assumptions made by the United Nations (UN), the World Bank and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Malaysia on the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement’s (TPPA’s) trade impacts, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) said.

“For a fair comparison between the studies done by the UN, the World Bank and PwC Malaysia, the government would need to investigate their assumptions in full,” the ministry said in a statement today.
