Bersih 2.0 urges MPs to reject ‘undemocratic’ TPP Highlights

Bersih’s chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah said Bersih 2.0 would support the anti-TPP protest to be held at Dataran Merdeka this Saturday.

“Malaysians must fight all efforts from within and outside the country that challenge our rights to determine the country’s future,” she said.

Federal lawmakers from across the political divide must band together and reject the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) to issue a clear signal in defending the country’s sovereignty, electoral reform watchdog Bersih 2.0 said today.
